Here is the material we used for the liner.
This material is very strong and holds up very well. |

Lay out the liner. If you keep it flat around the work area it will not hole very easily. |

Tack it with a staple gun around the inside of the top edge. |

Trim around the top edge. |

Press down in the drain to fine the edges. |

Make the square about 1" smaller than the edges. |

Fold and staple down the edges. |

Apply a generous amount of Liquid Nails. |

Press the drain into the opening. |
![]() |
Apply a generous amount of clear caulk and press it into the crack with you fingers. Repeat a few times.
This caulk dries clear. |
